Contract with Dematteis Construction at South Beach Psychiatric

TEI Group awarded contract with Dematteis Construction Corporation to install 5 overhead geared traction elevators at South Beach Psychiatric, Staten Island.

The project consists of the construction of an approximately 250,000 gross square foot five-story replacement, inpatient residential building on an approximately 9-acre footprint located in the northeast portion of the SBPC campus. The new flood-resistant facility would house up to 250 adult and 12 adolescent inpatient beds. The new residential building would replace outdated, functionally obsolete buildings with a single, state-of-the-art inpatient residential building. The population from multiple inpatient residential buildings on the campus would be consolidated into the new building
