TEI Group wins contract to modernize eleven (11) elevators and maintain thirteen (13) at the historic 5 Penn Plaza.

5 Penn, managed by CBRE Group, is a completely renovated 24 story office building in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, located directly across from Penn Station in the heart of Manhattan's premier transportation center.

Building Awards:

• 2012 - 2015 awarded Energy Star label for operating efficiency. 

• 2013 awarded LEED certification at the Silver level by the U.S. Green Building Council. 

• 2015 awarded LEED certification at the Gold level by the U.S. Green Building Council.

OWNERSHIP 
Stephen D. Haymes is a Partner of Haymes Investment Company; a family owned and operated real estate enterprise established by his father Morice in 1925. Mr. Haymes is the Managing Partner of 5 Penn Plaza LLC, a partnership which purchased 5 Penn Plaza. Mr. Haymes' operating philosophy is "hands-on" in nature with a goal towards improving the asset through on-going property renovations, leasing and retention programs and upgrading building services and amenities. The partnership maintains its corporate office at 5 Penn Plaza.
