TEI Group Welcomes New Equipment and Sales Representative

Following the hire of Andy Koontz, EVP of Sales and Marketing last November, TEI Group is welcoming another member to the sales team on Monday, March 15, 2021.

TEI Group is pleased to announce that Joseph Stein has joined the TEI team as the New Equipment and Sales Representative, effective immediately.

An esteemed elevator pro, Stein has spent the last 40 years in the elevator industry, beginning his career as an apprentice helper in a small family-owned independent company, then working his way to mechanic and foreman. Beginning the early part of his career at an independent elevator company, he amassed a great deal of core industry knowledge, allowing him to make a seamless transition to superintendent and, subsequently, sales. He also spent 17 years at Otis Elevator before landing at TEI Group. He has been involved in several high-profile custom glass elevator installations in Manhattan, most notably Apple, Museum of Modern Art and Pierpont Morgan Library. Stein credits his success in sales to his attention to the customer experience and the relationships he has built in the industry.
