TEI Group recognized for installing One Millionth Torin Drive machine
Torin Drive hosted some of North America's top elevator consultants and contractors at its Global Headquarters near Shanghai in September. In a ceremony that took place late September, Torin Drive presented their one millionth machine in history to TEI Group based out of New York. The machine will be used in a modernization project located at 17 Lexington Ave in New York.
Torin Drive and TEI Group participated in a ceremony unveiling the Millionth Machine. This ceremony took place at the Torin Drive factory. Mr. He Zhang, President of Torin Drive, presented the machine and certification to Kevin Lynch, Sr. Vice President of TEI Group. Following the unveiling of the machine was a tour of the Torin Drive factory and dinner.
Torin Drive and guests celebrated the success of the company and the Millionth Machine milestone through a formal celebration ceremony which included entertaining performances, dinner, a video showcase of the company's history and a video highlighting the Millionth Machine project. A certificate was presented to TEI Group in receipt of the Millionth Machine. Recognition awards were also given to representatives of Torin Drive locations across the globe.
Project Overview: Torin Drive's Millionth Machine will be used in a modernization project for the Lawrence and Eris Field Building at 17 Lexington Ave in New York. The current facility was built in 1928 to house City College's division of business and civic administration. Planned renovations for the Field Building will ensure that 17 Lexington Ave joins the other College buildings as a model environment for twenty-first century education.
